CATBASE APPLICATIONS

Our software is available in two Editions:

• Enterprise Edition: Offers all features except ODBC connectivity.

• Data Chameleon Edition: Offers all features, including ODBC connectivity (connect your CatBase database directly to another database, such as MySql or SqlServer, to import/export/publish data).

It's also available in both Single-User and Multi-User versions:

• Single-user: The software is installed on your desktop or laptop and the database can be used by only one person. 

• Multi-User: The software and database are installed on a server, and can be accessed by multiple users ("clients"). The basic multi-user system includes two user licences. You can add as many additional user licences as you need. Note that they are concurrent licences: you can install the Client software on any number of computers but only the number of licences you've purchased can log in at the same time.

Licensing

There is an initial purchase price which gives you a 12-month licence. Thereafter, there is a much smaller annual licence fee.

 

Platforms

CatBase is available for Windows and Macintosh.

​For Multi-User versions, the Server can be either Mac or Windows, and the Clients can be any combination of Mac and Windows.

All prices are quoted in UK £ Sterling.
