Publishing a "Yellow Pages"-style Telephone Directory

CatBase Directory Publisher makes it easy for you to publish a "Yellow Pages"-style phone book. You can enter the data directly into CatBase's database or you can import the data from just about any other source.

An example of a "Yellow Pages" Directory that was made with CatBase and Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress:

Feature	Description
	Classification headings: Categories (Classificaitons) can be organised on a three-level hierarchy. Each entry can be in any number of categories. The headings can be published as text or imgaes.
	Plain entry: This is an example of a basic, plain entry: the name and address are set in a plain font, and the phone number is in bold.
	Bold entry: This company has paid for a Bold listing.
	Long lines split: An option in CatBase allows you to specify the maximum length of a line. If a line needs to be broken, you can choose whether to insert a soft return or to choose a different paragraph style for the second line.
	"Semi-display" ad: This type of ad is based on text that has been entered into the company's record in the database. A text box is create on the fly and it is styled and filled with the ad text.
	Display ad: This is an ad that was created and saved as a jpg (you can use any file format that is supported by the page layout program).
